Holy Communion for the sick

The parish of Saint Servatius also provides support and relief in times of illness. In the form of a visit, an anointment or in prayer with the priest, you can entrust your grief and / or worries to God.

Hospital visit

Every week, one of our parish priests visits the academic hospital Maastricht (azM). After having been informed on admission of your Roman Catholic denomination, our parish will be informed of your stay. If this is not known to us and you appreciate a visit, you or your family can contact the Parish Office.

Holy Communion for the sick

Are you ill or is a family member ill and therefore unable to attend church? Then we will make it  possible for you to receive Holy Communion at home or in the hospital. The Holy Communion for the sick is delivered every first Friday of the month and around Christmas and Easter. It is advised to prepare a white cloth - if possible, with a cross, two lit candles, holy water and a palm branch - upon which the priest can place the Holy Communion.
