Parish
The parish of Saint Servatius is an inner city parish and part of the bisdom of Roermond. In addition, the Basilica of Saint Servatius fulfills the function of deanal church. Although the parish of Saint Servatius is relatively small with about 3,500 parishioners, it has a rich history and a lively community.
Core mission
The core tasks of the parish include:
- Liturgy: praising of God and the sanctification of men through word and sacrament.
- Catechesis: proclamation of the Word of God and deepening of faith.
- Diaconia: service to one's own community and the world.
The Parish of Saint Servatius also cooperates with the Parish of Saint Anna-Lambertus, since September 2000
