Other services

In addition to the regular masses, various other celebrations enrich the liturgical calendar of Saint Servatius.

During Lent: Every friday "Way of the Cross" at 3 am.

Sunday, April 2:  Palm Sunday  9.45 am High Mass in the cloistergarden followed by Palm Sunday Procession.    03.00 am: Palm Sunday Concert in the basilica.

Thursday, April 6: Maundy Thursday: no morning mass/only adoration and rosary.  07.00 pm Night Vigil in the chapel until Friday morning.

Friday, April 7: Good Friday: 08.00 am end of Night Vigil. 03.00 pm: commemorative service Suffering and Death of Our Lord. 07.30 pm: Way of the Cross procession through the inner city to the basilica of Our Lady and to Wyck.

Saturday, April 8: no morning services. 09.00 pm: Night Vigil of Easter. 11.30 pm: Night Vigil in the English language in the basilica of Our Lady, followed by procession to the basilica of Saint Servatius.

Sunday, April 9: Easter Sunday: 10.00 am: High Mass of Easter with choir. 05.00 pm: Adoration and Confession. 06.00 pm English Mass.

Monday, April 10: Easter Monday: 10.00 am: High Mass with choir.

10.00 a.m.:          Procession to the Holy Well (spring) and thereafter the Mass at the Holy Well. The first Mass by our newcomer Chaplain Vincent Qumar.
